73 model – Westfalia Continental camper. This van named ‘Gerty’ was exported to england then I’m told travelled through Sweden, NZ and found it’s way to Australia in the 80s. Parked up in 2014 this van has unfortunately sat with it’s nose in the weather, there is some nose rust (included is a new nose panel) and some small spots around the body which are not very serious. The underbody and chassis are very solid and straight and retain a lot of the original blue paint. The engine is a 1800cc twin carb type 4, The engine is not currently running and comes with a new 12v starter motor. Surprisingly for a vehicle of its age the paint is mostly original and the camper fit out is in excellent condition and mostly complete. Window glass is all Sekurit excluding front window , original Westfalia and Vw manuals and the all important M code and Westfalia tags are in place. Ignition and door keys are original Vw with logo, original westy house/cabinet style keys for locking cupboards , lots of other unique bits to this van. With some attention this will be a very nice example of a Westfalia Continental. Any genuine…
