I have For sale a 1968 VW bug it does not run the motor is all apart the heads are in good shape i priced a engine over haul through JC whitney for around 250 dollars to rebuild it it need an over haul do to the thrust bearing was bad it ran good but it had play on the crank back and forth do to the thrust bearing being bad the crankshaft was good to it is a 1500 single port engine the car is veary good shape for the year it has extra chrome on it good tires real nice car for the year there is veary veary veary little rust in the car if any it still has the carpit on the floor the car was veary well taking care of it is well worth restoring you can call 515-468-7030 or you can call 515-401-5062On Jan-17-12 at 08:38:11 PST, seller added the following information: resevere has been met so who gets the highest bid will own the car

AWESOME 1973 VW BEETLE WITH 38663.5 ORIGINAL MILES Up for sale is my occasional weekend only driver, a true classic 1973 Volkswagen Bettle in awesome condtion for it’s age. The vehicle has 38663.5 original miles!! It drives and runs great with no faults or issues. This vehicle needs nothing to be done, other than a great driver. So go on ahead and bid to win. The basic information would be that it is a 4-cylender, long block; 1745 CC, single carb, dual port air cooled engine with manual transmission. It came from California so NO RUST under the carriage. Very solid body all the way around and garage stored. The interior is in almost mint condition with normal tear and ware but anyway its awesome. A trully nice bug for the money. Very clean and well taken care of 1964 beetle. Very original California car. Daily driver and current tags. Interior is good has all chrome on dash. No body rot and original paint. All lights work. The engine block is a year old rebuilt with case savers, brand new audi heads. Rebuilt generator, new bolt on valve covers, new tie rods in front and realigned 6 months ago. New brakes all the way around, new master cylinder. You can drive it home and has had recent tune up. The motor runs excellent. Good transmission. The car has original black license plate. It’s missing a passenger side windshield wiper, it has a rust spot on outside roof about as big as a quarter. Pick up only! Any questions or more pictures please contact me, Thanks. Added notes… Interior is in good shape, a little faded but no rips, the carpet in the car is in good shape too but a little fraying under passenger seat. The shift knob is ratfink and there is a cloth banner of the Grateful Dead underneath parking brake. The registration is due this month and its being paid so its good for a whole year.

1967 VW Bug – Runs and is ready to drive. I’ve owned it since 2006 and it has been garage stored the entire time. My uncles did a bit of engine work (it was already converted to a 12 V battery) and completely undercoated the vehicle. I’ve never done any body work and it doesn’t appear to have had any. It has a few minor scratches and some pit marks on the hood. Interior is in great shape. I start it and let it run every 2 weeks. It was an impulse purchase and I just don’t drive it. It needs a good home! The tires look great, but not sure when they were originally placed on the vehicle. Vehicle is currently in Boise, Idaho.
