I am selling this great VW for my neighbor. It is a 1978 VW Super Beetle Convertible. This is special “Karmann” edition. The engine is fuel injected and runs great. It is a standard shift car without any known mechanical issues. The reason that my friend is selling the bug is because they have used it very little since they have owned it. He bought the car in May of 2007 and he is the third owner of the car. It has been garaged and the mileage of 5/09/2012 is 35,953. The speedometer might have turned over so it might be 135,953. The car is bright yellow with a black interior. The car also comes with three manuals. My friend in not sure but the beetle might have been repainted at some point. The floors panels appear to be in good condition. The bug is in very good shape and the convertible top look great and works great. The overall condition is GOOD and was informally appraised by Classic Performance Auto up to $12,000.00. The VIN number is 1582002645. Clear title in hand! The car is located in Raleigh, NC.
